Being around LEGO bricks is part of a family tradition, where early learning toys hold a special place.
My parents always believed that LEGO bricks were an ideal way to develop visual memory, spatial reasoning, and imagination.
So it was only natural that DUPLO elements accompanied my first steps in this area, giving me the opportunity to discover a world of vibrant colors with vast creative possibilities.
Those large bricks were quickly replaced by the classic 2×4 LEGO bricks, once I had both types of basic bricks in my hands and was able to experiment with new building combinations.
My father already had a LEGO collection from the 1970s and 80s, and I built my first models with the classic System 2×4 bricks. Looking back, I still remained loyal to DUPLO, whose role became the backbone of the larger constructions as it was reinforcing the internal structure of the models.
2006
In 2006, the Fana’briques Association organized its first LEGO exhibition in the village of Rosheim, in Alsace.
I remember that, to coincide with the Tour de France cycling race passing through, they displayed a huge bicycle made entirely of LEGO pieces: I discovered a vast universe that pushed the boundaries of creation in terms of shape (imagine, a circle made of LEGO!) and size (the model was easily two meters tall!)…

Inside, several dozen fans, many of them adults, displayed official models from their favorite themes and original creations.
2014
Each year, the Fana’briques exhibition attracted more and more visitors and exhibitors.
I quickly began participating in design competitions based on set themes.
In 2014, I won second place in the competition by creating a model with a round tower, using a technique I had seen, here adapted to achieve my goal.

It was also at this event that I met Pierre NORMANDIN, who was a Model Designer at LEGO at the time: an ambition was born!
2015
The theme for the year was “Wild Wild West.” As I explained on this other page, since there was no height limit for the creation, it was an opportunity for me to do something ambitious: the totem was 1.5 meters tall!
I won first prize in the competition.

2018
I started using new design tools: LDD software and then Stud.io, which allowed me to manage 3D models before assembling them.
When your hands are lacking strength, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) allows you to push the physical boundaries of creation.
2021
I became active within a LEGO Bionicle community, a very active fan community. The Bionicle range is a very special universe within the LEGO world.
One of the creators, Bionicle For Life, reached me out to create the building instructions for the models they sell.
In a YouTube review video of these models, influencer Ben Cossy stated that my building instructions have the professional quality of the official instructions from the major Danish company!

The way the instructions look feels really similar to LEGO instructions, […] it’s clear and straightforward

2025
I started submitting creations and participating to challenges on the LEGO Ideas platform.
My current project “Architecture: Place Stanislas” is a new adventure in terms of design and community sharing!
